The Laguna Education Foundation hosts a number of events throughout the year here are a few of our annual events!
Annual Golf Tournament
Each year since 1999, the Foundation has held an Annual Golf Tournament to support the scholarships for the Pueblo of Laguna. All proceeds of the Tournament are directed toward the funding of the Higher Education Merit Scholarships, which are given to a number of outstanding graduate and undergraduate students each year. The event takes place in the fall and includes 18 holes of golf at a championship course, great gifts and prizes and a fine lunch. Sponsorships and donations for the event are always welcome.
Celebrating Life-Long Learning Winter Gala and Silent Auction
The Winter Gala and Silent Auction is a joint effort between the Laguna Rainbow Center and the Foundation. The event highlghts the wonderful work of both organizations and demonstrates how important generational learning is to the People of Laguna. The event features wonderful live music and amazing artwork donated by master artisans including: Alice Ahmie, Lee Marmon, Pat Pruitt, Sam English and many more. The event is held in the winter, usually during the holiday season.
Honor's Night
In collaboration with Partners for Success, Honor's Night is our event that celebrates our incoming scholarship recipients and our wonderful GED and post-secondary graduates. The event features the awards ceremony, followed by a fine dinner.
